Bay of Plenty men's and women's sevens sides can start preparing for the 2018 Bayleys National Sevens in Rotorua after a successful day at the Northern Regional Sevens Tournament.

At the tournament, held at Memorial Park in Cambridge on Saturday, the Bay of Plenty men's team ended the day in second place, being edged out by Counties Manukau.

Both Bay of Plenty Men's and Women's sides will now prepare for the 2018 Bayleys National Sevens after a successful day...

The Bay of Plenty women's side faced Counties Manukau in the third and fourth playoff, with Counties taking out the game 27-17.
