More expensive stump devices were unsuitable as the user needed to cut down trees to use the stump as a bench, he said. "It's very simple and easy to use. A lay person can use it. It's nice and handy and can be used for all chainsaw use. It's ideal for anyone who works a chainsaw ... it's at the right height and you can adjust it for hills."
It's handy too. "Once you have used it for a work bench you can use it as a table or a bar for your beer, or, orange juice for those who don't drink."

Meanwhile, 130,000 people are expected to take in the agricultural event of the year with more than 26,000 attending the event on the first day.
Event manager Vanessa Richmond said it was a typical opening day on Wednesday. The event runs until 5pm tomorrow.
The invention tent had been was extremely popular this year, she said. "There has been a huge interest in our innovations with its new format competition which has attracted amazing entrants."
