Australian man charged over crash has court case adjourned

An Australian man has been charged over a crash on the Desert Rd that injured five people.

A 70-year-old Australian man charged in relation to a Desert Rd crash that injured five people has had his case adjourned until June.

The man was to appear in the Rotorua District Court todaybut an application was granted to further remand him on bail in Australia until his appearance on June 21.

The man has been charged with five counts of careless driving causing injury after the crash on State Highway 1 on March 5.
