A cyclist has died overnight after a crash on Te Puke Highway yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the crash, between a car and a cyclist, around 4.50am yesterday.
The 66-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital at the time but died last night.
The investigation into the crash is continuing.

Police confirmed yesterday a vehicle crashed into a ditch while heading east and collided with a push bike before Collins Lane.
A St John spokeswoman confirmed an ambulance attended the incident at 4.49am and the rider was transported to Tauranga Hospital in a serious condition following the crash but the driver and occupants of the car were uninjured.
