One lane blocked after crash near Rotorua

A car and a ute have collided on State Highway 5 north-west of Rotorua.

A police spokeswoman said they were called to the scene near Maraeroa and Barker Rds just before midday.

The south-bound lane was blocked, she said.

Fire and ambulance services were also at the scene.

A St John spokeswoman said a man was taken to Rotorua Hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
