At yesterday's citizenship ceremony, new citizens shared how they felt about Rotorua.
It's a proud moment today standing in front of everyone, being a part of this country which is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Rotorua is a very nice little community we are all proud of.
I first came to New Zealand in 2000 and decided I was definitely coming back to live here. I'm still here enjoying Rotorua and the lakes area.
In Tonga we love New Zealand. We watch rugby and hope and dream we will come to New Zealand one day and we are citizens now. Rotorua is a nice, beautiful place for a start.
I would like to stay in Rotorua because there are nice people and they are friendly.
