The Westpac Waikato Rescue Helicopter was called to the Whakapapa Ski Field to help a woman who had collapsed.
The chopper was called at 4pm yesterday to airlift the 22-year-old woman.
She was attended to at the scene by paramedics before being transported by ambulance to the National Park Airfield, where she was flown to Waikato Hospital for further treatment.
