If you've been searching for the ultimate occasion for you and your girlfriends to get together, then here it is.

The annual Women's Lifestyle Expo is back in Rotorua next month with its biggest expo yet.

It will feature new companies and everything from fashion and accessories to food and wine, crafts, unique businesses and beauty.

Julie Fam from Wellington is bringing her business Kreative Paper Crafts to the expo.

"It's all about art. I make lots of arts and crafts but mainly 3D gift cards. My crafts are made from materials that are 90 per cent sourced in New Zealand.

"I will also have some girlie things like hair accessories. I love going to as many of the women's expos as I can in New Zealand.

"Lots of Kiwis love art and Kiwis love giving things so cards are awesome," Ms Fam said.

Renee Murray from expo organisers, NZME Events, said the aim was to have as wide a range of companies involved as possible.

"Women are all different and their individual interests are so diverse. One woman may love the latest in active wear but the woman beside her may be more interested in sampling fine vodka or buying gluten-free bread, or even organic skincare.

"Aside from having the best of local companies exhibiting at the expo we have a large number of national companies who will travel to Rotorua from all around New Zealand, especially to show local women their products.

"It's great on the weekend to see all the various women visit the show, from teenagers to businesswomen, mothers to grandmothers and friends simply enjoying each other's company.

"It's becoming more common for us to see three generations visit the expo together as well, with the daughter, mother and grandmother all enjoying the show and spending the day with each other."

What: Women's Lifestyle Expo
When: November 5 and 6, 10am to 5pm
Where: Rotorua Energy Events Centre
