According to the latest Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) sales figures released this morning, the number of properites sold in Rotorua in September dropped 10.2 per cent, from 128 sales in September 2015, to 115 this year.

House sales are also down on August, when 139 properties were sold.

The median sale price for September also dropped compared to last month from $325,000 in August to $300,000 this month.
