Cyclist hit by vehicle in Taupo

A cyclist has been hit by a vehicle in Taupo this morning.

A police spokesperson said informants at the scene on Rifle Range Rd said a person was lying on the ground but was moving and conscious.

Ambulance were at the scene and the injuries are thought to be minor.

Traffic is moving but being directed.
