Roadworks, tree felling, and reseals will be underway on a number of state highway sites around the region over the next month.
Lane closures and stop/go traffic management will be in place at Lake Rotoma on State Highway 30 and at Mangapouri on State Highway 36.
Motorists travelling between Taurangaand Rotorua on State Highway 36 are advised to expect delays during March as contractors carry out rockfall prevention work in the Mangorewa Gorge.
Traffic may also be disrupted by forestry work alongside State Highway 5 at the Tahorakuri Forest on the Taupo to Rotorua road this month. Tree felling alongside the highway will see a 50km/h speed restriction in place and at imes traffic down to a single lane.
