There was an armed incident at the Selwyn Tavern this afternoon.
Rotorua police Senior Sergeant Geoff Barnett said two men, one armed with a knife, entered the tavern just after 12pm.
The pair took off with a small undisclosed amount of cash before a scuffle as patrons tried to stop
