48 Hours - That's Great Service

We asked our readers to tell us where in Rotorua they have had great service during the past week.

Had a lovely look around and purchase from a fairly new shop in town, Exotic Imports. They were very friendly, helpful people selling Mexican and Indian homeware and everything was reasonably priced, too.

TC takeaways Pleasant Heights fish and chip shop. Nice staff and the food amazing. When my order was ready they even brought it out to the car for me. Now that's great service.

The young guy at Mad Butcher. He genuinely wants to know how your day went and wishes you a nice rest of the day. You don't expect it from someone his age, very polite.

All the staff at Fairy Springs Medical Centre are friendly and professional.

Two weeks in a row I have had great service by Dennis from the timber yard at Mitre 10 Mega. The help has been greatly appreciated.

The young guy from Mad Butcher deserves some recognition, he is an asset to that place.

The Rotorua Hospital. How they all manage to stay upbeat, cheerful and courteous is beyond me. I'm talking about every single staff member I came in contact with: reception, orderlies, surgeons, and nurses. I spoke with a few other patients as well and we all agreed the staff were amazing.

Fenton Cafe were so helpful choosing what to order as it can be quite daunting trying new dishes, such as Korean food, when we had no idea what was what. Such great service by everyone I've been served by. The mum is so lovely and always full of pleasant conversation. Presentation of our food was beautiful when bought out to our table and as always, delicious.

Geyserland Bakery has nice staff, great food, and just a really great vibe. I would recommend everyone go on in and say hi. Good work Geyserland Bakery.

Z Energy on Fairy Springs Rd has great service. One of the workers there is always wishing me a good day and calls me darling.

One of the workers at Indian Star has the best customer service in the city. I don't go in very often but when I do, he remembers not only my order, but my name and what I do for a living. It's definitely the little things that stand out.

J Foster Building and Tiling are always exceptionally friendly over the phone and have wonderful customer service. Would recommend to anyone who needs work done.
