The New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) awarded $145,235.27 in grants in the Bay of Plenty region in February.

Bay of Plenty Badminton Association, $20,000.00. Towards salary of Coachforce Development Officer.

Bay of Plenty Touch Association, $8,000.00. Towards accommodation costs to attend Touch NZ Master, Youth and Open Nationals in Auckland.

Get Smart Tauranga Trust, $5,000.00. Towards salary of Trust Manager.

Katikati College, $7,000.00. Towards accommodation to attend National Volleyball Championships in Palmerston North, and playing uniforms for netball and squash teams.

Ngongotaha Sports and Community Association, $4,668.00. Towards bus travel for 2018 season.

Otumoetai College, $10,000.00. Towards travel and accommodation to attend NZSS Volleyball Championships in Palmerston North.

Rotorua Lakes Council, $50,000.00. Towards costs associated with 'free to the community days' of Crankworx event in Rotorua.

Rotorua Rod & Gun Club, $9,500.00. Towards refurbishment of ablution block at the clubrooms.

Tauranga Evergreen Softball Club, $3,000.00. Towards travel and accommodation to attend national softball tournament in Wellington.

Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Otepou, $8,593.05. Towards sports equipment and uniforms.

Te Puke High School, $3,000.00. Towards van hire and accommodation to attend volleyball championships in Palmerston North.
