Prince.

Best song.

Tough task. But.

The best tasks are the tough ones.

So where to start? Some would say Kiss. The original. Not the passable Tom Jones version. You don't have to be rich to be my girl. You don't have to be cool to rule my world. Funky guitar. Falsetto vocals. What's not to like?

But what about the epic Purple Rain title track? Full of emotion and stunning guitar.

I once owned a 12" Prince record (look it up) called Let's Pretend We're Married. Yes I think the man's obsessed. It was a great listen, and the B-side Irresistable Bitch was a charmer.

But it's not one of the great tracks.

Sign o the Times is.

But my favourite would have to be I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man, mainly for that great intro.

What's your favourite Prince track?
