Friday Nov 18 - Sunday Dec 11: God's Road. Take an intimate look into the world of the Tyburn Catholic Monastery in Ngakuru through the lens of award winning Rotorua-based photographer Andrew Warner. Saturday Nov 19: The Friends of the Rotorua Library book sale. From 9am-1pm in the Old Tea Kiosk in Kuirau Park. Thousands of books at bargain prices with all proceeds going to the Rotorua District Library.

Saturday Nov 19: The Checks at The Shed. New Zealand music at its best with The Checks playing live at The Shed on their Deadly Summer Sway album release tour. Tickets from the usual places and on the door From 8pm.

Sunday Nov 20: The 44th Annual International Trout Fishing Tournament. Organised by Rotorua East Lions Club, the three-day trout fishing tournament will be based in the Arawa Lounge at the Rotorua Race Course on Fenton Street. $1000s worth of prizes up for grabs. Sunday Nov 20: Owhata Indoor Bowls Club Hams Tournaments. Holiday Inn Fours on Saturday and Bidvest Pairs on Sunday. Entries to Delwyn Hughes, 5 Farnworth Ave, or call (07) 345 6609. Fours $30 a team, pairs $15 a team. From 1pm - 4pm at the Rotorua Sportsdrome.

Sunday Nov 20: Spring into Summer. A concert and fashion show run by Quota International of Rotorua. At the Casa Blanca Theatre, 122 Riri St from 1pm.
