Friday, Jan 7: Steriogram, Pistol Youth and Shotgun Alley play The Shed in Tuwharetoa St, Taupo, tonight, R18, door sales $35.
Saturday, Jan
8: The Rotorua North Rotary Club Charity Flea Market. Open every Saturday next to the playground in Kuirau Park from 7am-1.30pm. A huge range of produce, food, goods and entertainment.

Sunday, Jan 9: The 4th annual Bike Vegas Summer MTB Cup. Race one. With single lap courses on some of the best trails New Zealand has to offer. The 2011 series is three races with either 45km or 25km one-lappers with single race winners and overall series champions. From 10am-2pm starting at Waipa Village. Cost $50.
