Detectives get your spy glasses ready and pin back your attentive ears - the elusive Easter Bunny needs you to find him and his lost eggs.
The Great Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the Museum from tomorrow, Good Friday, until Monday with 15 eggs and one Easter bunnyto be found hiding among exhibitions at the museum.
Two lucky children who find the bunny will win themselves a $50 Easter basket of chocolates.
Museum programme co-ordinator Naiomi Murgatroyd said each child taking part would be given a sheet which they marked the eggs on as they found them.
Then the search was on for the Easter Bunny who was hanging around the museum somewhere.
Once egg and bunny were found, the sheet with their name and contact details on it was put in the entry form box at the entrance to the museum, Ms Murgatroyd said.
Eggs will be hidden in glass cases and other displays around the museum.
Entry to theevent is free for Rotorua people with proof of residency or the entry price to the Rotorua Museum for visitors.
