A lunchtime matinee was held today, but Mrs Cook said the two big nights were tomorrow and Saturday and those people in the audience who liked to get a bit freaky with their hair could end up $750 richer.
"L'Oreal are awarding $750 cash on both nights to the man and woman who come along with the freakiest hair styles," she said.
Tomorrow night's gala extravaganza includes The Daily Post People's Choice award where text votes from the audience would decide the winner.
The People's Choice award does not have any influence on the final results.
Ticketing options include tiered seating, providing a fantastic view of the entrants as they strut their stuff, or tables of 10 surrounding the catwalk and stage with dinner and some drinks included.
A cash bar is also available. The gala evening starts at 7.15pm.
Saturday night is the awards evening where all winners would be announced, including the supreme award, whose winners will get a wonderful trip overseas courtesy of Harvey World Travel and Singapore Airlines.
People should get set for a spectacular, colourful production including fantastic music, large full-screen multi-media, lighting and entertainment.
"This is three hours of entertainment that will leave you asking for more," Mrs Cook said.
Friday's gala event costs $35 for adults (stands) and $20 for children. Table seats cost $125 each.
