After my conundrum I read of someone else having the same issue - she wanted to comment on a blog but had forgotten her Wordpress password.
"Are you using LastPass yet?" was the next post after hers.
"Honestly, it's brilliant! Takes away all that low-level stress around remembering passwords."
Well, this was something I had to check out.
At first glance I'm hooked.
All you need to do is download and setup with LastPass. Once you've created your account, LastPass prompts you to save new sites as you browse - so you'll never lose another password.
If you have more than one computer - and let's face it, many of us would access password protected sites from at least two devices - you can download LastPass and login with the same account.
Your data is securely synced automatically, so you always have access to your latest updates.
Ever since LastPass was mentioned so many other people have posted how it has been a godsend. And since I've a habit of losing passwords (or at least forgetting which one I've used) I think I'll be adding it to my own computer tonight.
