Unlike most celebrities visiting Rotorua, comedy star David Strassman isn't bothered by the smell of sulphur.
In fact, the amateur geologist reckons he quite likes it.
Speaking to the Rotorua Daily Post from his home in the Hollywood Hills, Strassman said he was looking forward to bringing his latest show, Careful What You Wish For, to New Zealand.
He's been touring the show for several years, and reckons Rotorua audiences are set for a real treat. "It's my finest yet. I've been doing it for almost four years. It's slick and a laugh every 10 seconds."
Strassman, who tours with puppet counterparts including crowd favourites Chuck Wood and Ted E Bare, said there was something special about puppets and the way they "immediately make people smile".
