Sisters of Mercy NZ concert cancelled

Seminal gothic rock band Sisters of Mercy have cancelled what was to be their first show in New Zealand.
The group, which formed in Leeds more than 30 years ago, was to have performed in Auckland on September 22.
Promoters said the band's Australian dates had been cancelled so they would no longer be coming to New Zealand.
Sisters of Mercy were scheduled to play Australia's Soundwave Revolution festival which was cancelled today.
Refunds are available from the point of purchase.
