Why do you think Shortland St has lasted so long and done so well?

Because Pua Magasiva is on the show. Jokes. Because it's the only New Zealand drama series that speaks to all Kiwis.

There is a character and a storyline that every New Zealander can relate to.

What are your most memorable storylines and characters?

When Vinnie was a gigolo - he ran a male dating service and was caught in a situation where he had to jump out of a window. Nothing like my real life. I also love the character Wendy Cooper - she's like everyone's mother hen.

Why did you want to be part of Shortland St?

So that Vinnie and Wendy could get together! Hahaha. No, seriously, I wanted to be part of Shortland St because it's an amazing training ground for actors and crew alike and because it's the one show in New Zealand where you can earn a consistent pay packet and learn your craft amongst some of New Zealand's most talented people, both in front of the camera and behind.

What do you enjoy most about working on Shortland St?

Sleeping! Who doesn't like getting paid to sleep? And the people that I get to hang out with ain't half bad - we are like one big family.
