Young aspiring singers have the chance to show their talents when Sticky TV comes to Rotorua this weekend.
The show's Sticky Stars Duets is a karaoke competition for youngsters aged 10 to 16 where they sing a duet for the chance to be on television.
The Sticky TV caravan is touring New Zealand, starting from the bottom of the South Island and is making its way up the North Island for regional heats.
The production co-ordinator, Meghan Synott, said: "We're hoping for a really great turnout, and it will be a great chance for kids to have a bit of fun and a sing and get their faces on TV."
After the caravan leaves each city, photos of the performers are put on the Sticky TV website and the public can vote for who they think should win.
Performers who get the most votes will get into the quarter-finals. Winners will each win a brightly coloured Sony Vaio laptop. The finals will be in Auckland in October or November.
The Sticky TV caravan will be at the Lakefront Reserve from midday to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Entrants must have a release form signed by their guardian. For more information go to www.stickytv.co.nz.
