Wednesday Sep 12: When cute and furry goes bad. Hear a fun talk about predators and pests, go on a treasure hunt around the park and a guided night tour to see kiwi and the juvenile tuatara up close. Sunday 16 Sep: Ohau Channel clean-up. Kayak from Lake Rotorua through the Ohau Channel to Lake Rotoiti and help pick up any rubbish from the channel and the riverbanks. Free, optional $10 to hire a kayak. 1pm to 4pm. Contact Justin on (07) 345 6543 or info@riverrats.co.nz.
