A random mix of Kiwi girls on stage together in a non-flashy pure environment equals a show of world class.
That's what you got with last night's performance from Anika, Boh & Hollie _ the Classic Hits Acoustic Church Tour featuring New Zealand singer/song writing legends Anika Moa, BohRunga and Hollie Smith.
The ladies switched roles between playing acoustic guitar, electric guitar and bass _ showing their musicality _ while they were superbly backed by drummer Tom Broome and Godfrey De Grut on keys.
An enthusiastic Rotorua audience was gently walked through hits from the girls' past _ song highlights included Moa's Mother Mother and My Old Man and Runga's Part of Me and Evelyn.
While all three were brilliant, Smith shone vocally. At times a little awkward on stage, the minute she opened her mouth, all was forgiven. She ended the trio's encore performance answering the numerous requests from the crowd by singing her spine-tingling hit Bathe In The River.
While the show highlighted their hits, it also got you excited about what's to come.
