Rotorua residents will get the chance to snap up tickets to next year's Raggamuffin at a discounted price from tomorrow.

All Rotorua residents will be able to take advantage of the subscribers pre-sale and get the cheaper tickets from 9am tomorrow until Friday at 5.30pm.

Headlining the festival - at the Rotorua International Stadium on January 31 and February 1 - will be Damian Marley, the youngest son of Bob Marley. Others in the line-up include Shaggy, Groundation and Morgan Heritage as well as Rebel SoulJahz and Kiwi acts Tiki Taane, House of Shem, Three Houses Down, Soljah and Sons of Zion.

More artists will be announced later this year bringing the total line-up for the two-day festival to 20 bands and DJs.

The special pre-sale rate is $139 for a two-day pass (saving $20 per ticket), $99 for a Saturday ticket (save $20), or $55 for a ticket for Friday night (save $10), plus booking fees.

The special Rotorua-resident only tickets are available from the Rotorua Convention Centre box office, 1170 Fenton St. Proof of residency is required. The box office will be open from 9am to 5.30pm with a late night to 7.30pm on Thursday. To access this offer online, sign up at www.raggamuffin.co.nz and buy your tickets on Tuesday 24 September from 9am to 8.59am on Wednesday 25 September.
