The Rotorua Christmas Parade is less than three weeks away, but there's still time to enter your float and get into the spirit of the season.
Parade organiser Aaron Gillions said more than 30 floats had already been entered into the parade with another dozen or so expected before theparade kicks off at midday on Saturday, November 30.
"There is a great representation from the education sector, with many groups spending countless hours creating spectacular floats for the event," Mr Gillions said.
This year there are three categories of float being judged, along with an overall winner.
The categories are business, not-for-profit and education, with prizes offered for each category and the champion float shield awarded to the best overall entry.
The parade will follow the same route as recent years, starting from Rangiuru St, weaving through the central city and finishing at the Village Green where there will be more entertainment for children and families.
Entry to the parade is free and the online registration form is available at www.christmasparade.co.nz.
