This week we meet RAJ KUMAR, local Springfield identity.

I have lived here for ... 12 years, since July, 1999
The words that best describe my community are ... passionate and family-oriented.
I love living here because ... the people are more relaxed. It's safe, you can walk around safely and feel
like no one is encroaching on you. People are respectful and mindful of each other.
The best thing about my community is ... it is a friendly community. It's the type of people, the demographics of the people. It's not transient and you meet the same faces. People are more at peace with themselves.
The people here are ... quality people. People are passionate. I see all walks of life, from kids to mothers and grandmothers, but  they have a certain demeanour about them. The kids are very respectful and patient.
On a Saturday you'll see ... people get up and hit the lakes, people go to the city markets. People in this area are concerned about their health. From 6am, I see heaps of people  walking every morning.
I get really annoyed with ... the cars that come over the roundabout. There should be a traffic camera. People come and do wheelies, it's annoying. Someone will get hurt one day.
The worst thing that's happened here ... is, because it is a better part of town, there are a lot of break-ins. That is the downside of living here.
If there was one thing I could change ... it would be nice to have a community constable here because it is a big area. There needs to be a point of contact. Other suburbs have them.
But I'd never change ... the people because they are friendly, happy people. Everyone is well-balanced. I also wouldn't change the golf courses because they are beautiful.
SPRINGFIELD FACTS
