We all know and love the the story but the classic animated film Beauty and The Beast is likely to get some new fans.
The early 90s animated Beauty and The Beast film is back on the big-screens - but this time,it's in 3D.
While the older generations will enjoy this fairytale, which could spark childhood memories, this release also gives the younger generations the opportunity to be introduced to the story and to love it too.
Having watched this movie as a child, I was eager to see it in 3D as well as introduce my 4-year-old to it. She had never been to the movies before, she had never worn 3D glasses before and because new movies are more brighter than the older animated films, I was interested to see how she would enjoy the experience.
She enjoyed the singing, was in awe of the beast, thought the main character Belle, whom she thought was a Barbie, was pretty and tried to reach out to touch the 3D images in front of her.
Beauty and The Beast tells the story of Belle (the beauty) who is unhappy with her life in a small provincial town, is constantly turning down the affections of Gaston who wants to marry her and is always sticking up for her father, who is seen as a little crazy by others in her town. The Beast is a prince who was placed under a spell because he could not love.
However, when Belle's father ends up at the Beast's castle, he is kept there as a prisoner until Belle trades places with him.
Beauty and The Beast 3D is a great movie for young and old. The older generations can be reminded of their younger days while the children can check out a movie their parents or siblings watched as a child.
