Rotorua kids may spot themselves on TV on Saturday with footage from the Bluelight TradeZone Gone Fishin Day screening on TV3.
Rotorua MP Todd McClay will also feature on the show.
The footage, which was filmed in April, will air on TradeZone Gone Fishin at 5pm on TV3. Run byBluelight Rotorua, the event at Hannah's Bay Reserve attracted about 80 children aged 8 to 13 - most of whom had never fished before. Show host Graeme Sinclair is a patron of New Zealand Bluelight.
Meanwhile, Mr McClay will also feature on the show, fishing on Lake Okataina.
