Daily Post reporter Anita Moran talks about her progress with boot camp. Every day I am discovering a new muscle which aches. It doesn't seem to matter what exercises or what stretches I do I will wake up and find something doesn't feel quite right. I know this is a result ofthe work we have been doing as part of Bridal Boot Camp. Now I'm not saying this is a bad thing, I just wish my body would give me some warning before making it so difficult to do simple tasks like walking up and down the stairs. I have just finished my third week of the boot camp and I can say that I have officially reached the halfway mark. The early morning starts are getting so much easier and as we train outside we have even been lucky enough to miss the rain in the mornings. The past week has been filled with power and strength training and one thing I have learned is that your mind is more powerful than you may realise. It is so easy to turn around and say you can't do something when in reality you are the only thing which would prevent you from completing that task. The team atmosphere which we work in does make it easier. Three weeks ago I didn't know one of my fellow boot campers. Now we cheer each other on to complete whatever challenge faces us that day. I am also starting to see subtle results from the work I am putting in, but despite what my colleagues think it may also have something to do with my diet and no-alcohol plan. To be honest, I'm not too sure how long that will last, so watch this space.
