The Ruby's Blue Hearts Tour hits Rotorua on Saturday, showcasing top blues and country music at the Belgian Bar.
Musicians and singers Bullfrog Rata and Wellington's Laura Collins (Mojo Mama) will perform from 8pm.
Sally Garner, BOP Blues Club president, said members were looking forward to the pair's return.
"They performed to apacked house when they featured at the club's 2009 winter festival, and rocked the night away with good-time blues grooves that had the audience calling for more - expect a rollicking, good time," she said.
Bullfrog Rata, from Manawatu, has had his own band, The Undergators, for more than 10 years. He's working on his second CD, Ain't Superstitious, recorded live as part of "Swamp-fulla blues", and has toured with Midge Marsden and Charlie Musselwhite, and opened for international blues acts, most recently Watermelon Slim.
Soulful singer Laura Collins, who is working on a new EP, will combine with Cindy Muggeridge on boogie keys to form Mojo Mama. The women say they "like to hand out a little sass and tear it up" in true blues fashion, without taking themselves too seriously.
Bullfrog will feature Earl Pollard on drums and George Barris on bass.
The concert is for those aged 18 and over, entry $15.
