If you want to hear what Kiwi reggae band 1814 has in store for their up-coming album, Rotorua residents can head to Ngongotaha's Kalah Bar this weekend.
The reggae band will be performing at the bar, owned by Rotorua pair Janina Khan and Missy Hale, in Hall Rd tomorrow night withsupport from Hamilton band NRG-Rising.
Khan encouraged people to get their tickets as early as possible as 1814 was a "top quality band" that was full of energy and charisma.
"Saturday night is always a great night with 1814," she said.
Khan said residents who attended the concert would be treated to a sneak peak of their up-coming album.
Khan said 1814 band member Patu Colbert has been a mentor for the bar and has helped them in their work towards attracting quality bands to their venue.
1814 has performed in Rotorua before, at Raggamuffin 2011 at the Rotorua International Stadium, at last year's Bassline concert in December and they also filmed the music video for their single Insomnia in Rotorua at film star Temuera Morrison's house.
