Rotorua musical lovers will have the chance to take in a tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons in a show direct from Las Vegas.
The Oh What A Night musical will be in Rotorua as part of a whistle-stop 14-day nationwide tour featuring George Solomon, Chris Anderson,Thomas Bevan and Josh Woodie in August.
It will be at the Rotorua Civic Theatre on Friday, August 24 and will feature all of the original hits, including Frankie Valli's biggest solo hit, of the same name, from the blockbuster movie Grease as well as earlier hits such as Sherry, Rag Doll and Walk Like a Man, through to 1970s favourites Who Loves You and the more melodic love songs, Can't Take My Eyes Off You and My Eyes Adored You.
Solomon, who has performed and written with major stars like Diana Ross, Bill Cosby, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Harry Connick Jr and Liza Minnelli said Oh What A Night was one of the best all-around feel-good shows he had been involved with.
"You can't go wrong with the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons because when people are watching the show they can't believe how many hits they have."
"The four of us will be appearing in New Zealand for the very first time and we're thrilled to have the opportunity to perform for your crowds," Solomon said.
The tour takes in Auckland, Rotorua, Hamilton, Napier, Wanganui, Palmerston North, Wellington, Invercargill and Christchurch.
