Rotorua blues music lovers will be rocking it for Christchurch this Saturday night.
The Blues Appeal Tour, raising funds for the Salvation Army, to be used to support families affected by the Christchurch earthquake, is taking place at The Shed Bar.
Bar owner Reg Hennessy said blues and rock loverswould have the rare opportunity to see father and son, Billy TK and Billy TK Junior perform together.
"It's going to be the greatest live blues and rock concert we have seen in Rotorua for a very long time," he said. "These guys are superstars ... and we'll be rocking it for a good cause."
The father and son will be accompanied by Band of Gypsies, harmonica guru Rambling Rick Stringer and the Federation and guest artist Tony Painting plus the UK's Power Band.
