Emerge teadress.

Wondering what to wear to work as the weather gets warmer?

Summer workwear can be fun and vibrant. This year, there are many ways to stick with quite traditional corporate shapes, while indulging in a bit of colour.

This bold floral patterned dress from Andrea Moore is a great option for the coming months - pop a black cardi over the top if the mornings are still a bit cool. A brightly coloured pencil skirt is another way to brighten up your work look while remaining professional.

A couple of different shapes are worth a try, too. Tea dresses like this one from EziBuy are a more work-suitable alternative to the skater dress. A straight cut dress is a better option than body-con if you're desk-bound and peplums are also still popular. Keep the peplum on your top half if you're worried about drawing attention to your hips.

If you'd normally wear a blazer to work, try out some different colours and textures. Pastel colours are everywhere at the moment and look great with white or black. Underneath, look for a blouse with a side tie or embellishment at the neck for added interest.

You can even liven up your footwear - this floral heel from Number One Shoes is a great addition to an otherwise neutral outfit, or paint your toenails in bright yellow when you pull out your sandals.
