Walter Mitty, played by Ben Stiller, takes daydreaming to entirely new heights.
Having lived a life of providing for his family since his father died, Walter had
never known adventure or excitement.
Only when he "zones out" does Walter get to enjoy the life of a swashbuckler traversing the world's continents.
But Walter's daydreams are not helping him attract the attentions of work colleague Cheryl Melhoff (Kristen Wiig) or satisfy the demands of new boss Ted Hendricks (Adam Scott).
