On the eve of Meg's much-anticipated wedding to James her bridesmaids hear a rumour about her husband-to-be.

Do they protect their friend from the truth in the hope it was a one-off affair, or tell her what they've heard and risk breaking Meg's heart?

That's where the drama begins when
Elizabeth Coleman's much-loved play, Secret Bridesmaids' Business, hits the Taupo stage next week.

The play broke box office records in its premiere season at Melbourne's Playbox Theatre in 1999, and was later adapted for the screen after touring widely.

Secret Bridesmaids' Business opens on November 3 for two performances which have already been presold for fundraising groups.

It then opens to the general public on November 5 and runs until November 12.
