The Stein Band will provide the music. They have more than 20 years' performing experience and are renowned for their games, dancing and sing-alongs with audiences.
Two performers from the Blue Baths entertainment company will join the Stein Band.
The event has also given local brewers a chance for exposure. Crouchers Brewery, Mata Brewery and Volcanic Hills Winery will provide the drinks for the night.
Volcanic Hills Winery co-owner and wine maker Brent Park said the event could be significant for Rotorua.
"This may be the start of other things happening in Rotorua," he said.
"It's about selling the image. It's important that we reinforce Rotorua-made products.
"It's about getting people from our community and people outside it to come to things that we hold dear."
Blue Baths managing director Jo Romanes agreed.
"These are boutique brewers that have won awards and we wanted to showcase that," she says.
She hoped the event would develop into an annual one.
