Fans of classic British sitcoms will want to catch the Rotorua Little Theatre's production of Are You Being Served?

Directed by Rotorua's Jenny Hotch, the show opens at Shambles Theatre beside Pak'n Save tomorrow night.

Are You Being Served? is known to many television audiences and now the shopfloor favourites have been brought to the stage in a hilarious comedy of errors.

Showing until December 3, the theatre's end of year production follows the characters as they venture to Spain for a staff holiday.

With plenty of shenanigans and mishaps along the way, the team ends up finding themselves in the midst of a civil war outbreak.

Ms Hotch said the show was sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

"Our cast has been working hard to perfect the nuances of the characters, as well as bringing their own special take on things. Ring in the holiday season with a night at the theatre and plenty of laughs."

The production is already proving popular with tickets for November 24 and 25 already sold out.

Tickets are available from the theatre box office, Monday to Saturday 11am to 2pm, and one hour before the show starts.

Show times are 8pm Wednesday to Saturday with a 4pm matinee on Sundays.

Door sales are also available.

Ticket prices are adult $26, senior $23, member $20, student (with ID) $15.
