If you haven't been able to connect with Justin Bieber because of his youthful sound, his latest album Believe may
change that.
He already has millions of young girls around the world wrapped around his little finger but Bieber's highly anticipated third studio album will no doubt draw in new
mature listeners.
Bieber has come out with an obvious older and more sophisticated image and with that, is the sound to match ... insert One Direction and Reece Mastin to take over the musical style Bieber has left behind.
The first single from Believe, Boyfriend, is acatchy tune partly written by Bieber himself and the success of it should e an indication of what will come with the rest of the album.
It's hard to describe Bieber's new sound, other than to say it's more mature. Infused is dance, R&B, a bit of dub-step and of course pop.
Think of the album sounds as a mix of thelater styles of Enrique Iglesias meets Pitbull, some old school 90s music, beat-heavy dance tracks and your acoustic-type ballads. The boycovers a broad range of musical types in here.
On top of Boyfriend there are at least three tracks on Believe I would simply describe as fricken awesome - All Around the World featuring Ludacris, Take You and Beauty and a Beat.
I'm also a fan of Right Here featuring Drake and the popular Die in Your Arms which have an old-school R&B feel to them.
While it can be hard for an artist to grow into more than the teen pop sounds they're known for, Bieber has comfortably made the transition.
