We asked our readers to tell us where in Rotorua they had great service in the past week.

Z petrol station on Fairy Springs Rd. The forecourt person was excellent. Already waiting at my car for me before I even got out and the man at the counter was also excellent.

Ticklepenny automotive on Riri St has great service. Had my cambelt done in record time and it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Te Ngae McDonalds night shift on Saturday night did a great job. We had a bulk order as we had all our kids staying at Marama Resort. We get to the window and were undecided so kept changing our mind and asking about the different dinner packs. The guy serving was ever so polite and patient and didnt moan once so I think he deserves to be recognised as he gave us great service.

There is a young girl who does the online shopping at Countdown who is brilliant. If she sees me walk in she greets me by name and gets my groceries ready for me

Ms Towns at St Mary's School is always the first there and last to leave. We often hear of the slack teachers but you never hear of the wonderful ones going the exta mile. I have seen how hard she works and how wonderful she is with my child. She needs recognition for being the best teacher and best start for any child starting school.

Recommended by Ray McVinnie, Capizzi pizzeria. My girls and I love this place. The most impressive thing we like is Deep and his hospitality. His smile attracts you to come in and it is definitely worth visiting.

The young guy at Warehouse on check outs deserves some acknowledgement. He made my day last week when he was so nice and even chased after a lady to give her the stuff she forgot to take.

Deep at Capizzi always makes you feel like you're at home in the restaurant. My kids love him, he's a very nice guy.

The workers at our local dairy on Thomas Cres always greet everyone with a smile and have an attitude to match any 5 star restort.

Geyserland bakery has some of the best staff. You get a smile and there is a really good vibe.

Geyserland bakery have the best staff around who always greet you with a smile and have amazing food. I always leave there laughing or smiling.

Devon seafoods have the nicest fish and chips and are a great family business, keep up the great work guys.

I brought a bed from a lovely lady, Sandy, at Harvey Norman. She gave us the best service and the best deal. the delivery guys were magnificent. My husband and I are too old to assemble things and the guys offered to assemble our bed and take the packaging away.

If you have had a great service experience in Rotorua during the past week, let us know by emailing news@dailypost.co.nz with "That's Great Service" in the subject line.
