We asked our readers to tell us where in Rotorua they have had great service during the past week.
Stuart from Rotorua Honda gave great service. I had to replace my Remote Lock Button (lock and alarm system) for my older Honda but Honda no longer stock this type ofdevice. Stuart went to a lot of effort to locate where I could attain one. When I brought it back to Rotorua Honda he programmed it in for me. He made it all so easy for me. Awesome service, Stuart.
Ian Edward and his lovely team of ladies at Pharmacy 44 are always welcoming to the customers no matter what colour or creed. You're greeted personally by the counter staff followed by a "how are you?" and a little chit-chat. Ian will ask if you enjoyed the concert and come out and chat, he values all his customers and takes the time to chat about your medication. The ladies are the same, helpful and efficient. The kaumatua and elderly are treated respectfully by a "kia ora" and assisted by Ian's angels if required. As you leave, it's "bye, have a good day". You may go in feeling like crap but certainly feel better in spirit when you leave. It's those simple values that make a good business and I think Ian and his team have nailed it.
Cobb & Co had mean service when we went there last week.
There is a young lady at Just Jeans who always goes out of her way to help me find the best pair of jeans. She is very friendly and always has a smile on her face.
Outstanding service from Jeans West. I went in there to window shop and found a pair of jeans I wanted to try on, they were about to close so I tried to hurry up. The assistant manager then told me about their special and I said wanted to look but knew the store was closing. She then said it was absolutely fine and even helped me pick out a top to match my jeans. She was so friendly and helpful and I couldn't believe how lovely she was considering she probably would have been on her way home if I hadn't gone in.
Wayne from Rotorua Wheel Alignment needs some recognition. I had a car done a few weeks ago but it started to have little wobble so I took it back. Wayne got in the car, drove it, and immediately said it was a tyre problem. He re-checked the alignment and gave great advice about tyre choice and where to go, all free of charge. He had recommended the first time that we should get new tyres soon but we thought we could get a bit more out of them. Very professional and great follow-up service.
