Winning Caci New Zealand's top award for the second year in a row is a testament to the consistency and strong team environment at the Rotorua clinic.
Owner/manager Esther Jacquet started Caci Rotorua from scratch seven years ago and won the group's supreme gold award for the first time in 2010.
The skincare and appearance enhancement clinic has just repeated that success in 2011.
"To win for the second year in a row is really a great achievement for the team and myself. It shows our consistent dedication to our clients and is a great opportunity to be recognised for our focus as a team."
Esther said everybody needed to work hard to consistently provide a top level of service for all customers and that hard work would continue - to build on past successes and to share the secrets of those successes with others.
"It is about sharing ideas and success for us all."
Before opening the clinic, Esther owned a French retail bakery for 10 years.
"When we moved here from France 17 years ago, it was a great opportunity for us to start our own business."
She said that, with sufficient passion and hard work, you could achieve anything, but having the right team around you was vital. Esther said her team at Caci Rotorua made her job easy.
Rotorua's business environment was also very supportive and she appreciated the "strength and passion" of her business peers. She said the local support network was very special.
"There is a great resilience with people in Rotorua and this extends into how people run their businesses. It is a great place to be."
What she found most satisfying about her business was seeing the difference the beauty therapies and appearance treatments had on the clinic's customers. Feeling better about their appearance added confidence and Esther's greatest reward was seeing the difference that made in the rest of their lives.
She has seen a significant change in how clients approach their beauty regime during her seven years in the industry, with a greater focus on regular, ongoing treatments.
"It is now about targeting results and having easy regular payments spread through the year."
To cater for this, Caci now has annual programme memberships and a rewards programme.
"It is about making beauty simple and accessible for our clients, to help them look and feel their best."
