New Destination Rotorua Marketing head

A new general  manager will be starting at Destination Rotorua Marketing from July 25.
Rotorua District Council has appointed Chris Destrieux, formerly the national sales manager for the Avis Budget Group.
Council economic and regulatory services group manager Mark Rawson said Destrieux would bring a fresh outsider's perspective to the role.
This appointment is being hailed as an important milestone in the current structural and directional changes in the department.
