Ngai Tahu Tourism, whose operations includes Rainbow Springs, Hukafalls Jet and a stake in the Agrodome, has announced its new chief executive.
Ngai Tahu Tourism chief Ross Keenan yesterday announced the appointment of Quinton Hall as incoming chief executive.
"We are delighted to have secured Quinton for this pivotal role.He brings with him extensive operational experience from the tourism sector and the wider business community, including project management, human resources, asset management, property and information technology experience.
"His wide industry knowledge of distribution systems, with particular expertise in systems development, reflects our current business objectives."
Currently chief operating officer - tourism and group support services at Tourism Holdings Limited (THL), Mr Hall has direct responsibility for the operation of some of New Zealand's major tourism attractions and also heads up the THL Group Support Service area.
Mr Hall said he was pleased to be appointed to the chief executive role. "I am looking forward to joining the team at Ngai Tahu Tourism and working with such an exciting portfolio of iconic tourism operations and brands."
Mr Hall will take up his new role in July.
Ngai Tahu Tourism is one of New Zealand's premier tourism operators and the parent company of an extensive portfolio of eco-tourism and adventure experiences. Its North Island operations include Hukafalls Jet in Taupo, Rainbow Springs Kiwi Wildlife Park and a significant investment in the Agrodome.
South Island operations include Shotover Jet, Dart River Jet and Hollyford Track Guided Walks in Queenstown, and Franz Josef Glacier Guides and Glacier Hot Pools in Franz Josef.
