Emergency services are currently at the scene of a crash in Taupo where a car has hit a power pole.
The crash is on Acacia Bay Rd near the intersection with Reeves Rd.
The road is blocked as Unison work to fix power lines which had come down as a
result of the crash.
A Rotorua Daily Post reporter at the scene said a person was initially trapped in the car but had since been taken out.
St John Ambulance, the Taupo Fire Service and police were at the scene.
