Police have released CCTV images of the two men responsible for the armed robbery at Mo's Bar and Casino, Rotorua on Sunday afternoon.

They were both wearing dark glasses and blue bandanas across their faces, one was in a dark hoodie and the other a white t-shirt and dark cap.

Detective Senior Sergeant John Wilson said anyone who recognised two men should call the police on (07) 348 0099.

Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on (0800) 555 111.

The two men went into the bar at 1.12pm, one demanded money from the duty manager while pointing a firearm at her. The manager was not harmed. The men got away with an undisclosed amount of money. The robbers left in a light metallic green Hyundai Accent.

The car was found on an empty section in Glenholme.
