The Northland team to defend its New Zealand Pony Club teams eventing title in Masterton in April has been chosen after trials on Sunday at Barge Park.
Kerikeri's Tara McClelland (Striking Distance), Manganui's Alycia Burton (Stormdance) and Alyx Pivac (Ridgewood Toblerone) are the three A1 (17-21 year-old) riders selected, with Briar Hart chosen as the reserve rider.
Kerikeri's Briar Corbett (Supermodel), Whangarei's Emily Clyma (Cheleken Jedi) and Megan Hart (Jacksons Dusty Boy) are the DC riders (16 and under), with Hayley Fluhler the reserve.
